Young Writers Competition
Creative Cohesion West Midlands has organised the Kashmiri Art Festival Week commencing 30th September – 8th October 2017.

We want young people to think about their Kashmiri heritage and culture. For example, your first visit to Kashmir, your feelings about family abroad, your observations and understanding of Kashmiri life.

We would like you to send us your short stories, poems, creative writing, drawings, paintings or animations which reflect your heritage, background and culture. We want you to be as creative as possible.

The competition has two age categories:

•5 - 11 years old
•12 - 18 years old

Your work should be submitted via email to info@creativecohesionwm.org

•Written work should be no more than 1500 words
•Art work should be scanned
•Animations can be sent via email

You must make sure that:

•Your name and age is clearly written on any submission
•That you provide us with contact details of your parent/guardian
•All entries may be used by CCWM in their publicity
•You must save a copy of your work that you submit
